AI Architect

Lamex Foods Group is a multibillion-dollar global food company seeking a highly motivated AI Architect to join our growing Digital & Technology team. This is a leading-edge role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping how AI is adopted and scaled across the business. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who identifies, designs, implements, and scales practical AI solutions across the enterprise. Working closely with architecture teams spanning front-office and back-office solutions, as well as data and insights, this role will translate business priorities into secure, scalable AI-enabled workflows, automation, intelligent agents, integrations, and reporting solutions. Reporting to the CIO, this role will work across business and technology teams to align strategy, reduce duplication and manual effort, improve visibility, accelerate decision-making, and support scalable growth and operational efficiency. What Success Looks Like Within the first 12 months, this role should: Identify and deliver high-impact AI and automation use cases across key business functions. Increase efficiency through AI-enabled workflows, agents, and integrations. Improve reporting, margin visibility, forecasting, exception management, and executive decision support. Establish a secure and scalable AI foundation across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure AI, Fabric, and other business-critical systems. Drive adoption through training, governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. Demonstrate measurable business impact through improved productivity, accuracy, speed, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead AI architecture and ALM across Claude, Google Gemini, Open AI, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure AI, Power BI, and related enterprise platforms. Audit workflows across sales, logistics, finance, compliance, supply chain, and operations to identify automation and optimization opportunities. Design, prototype, deploy, and support practical AI solutions, including intelligent agents, automation workflows, AI-enabled analytics, and internal tools. Design & Build AI across ERP, B2B/B2C, legacy systems, databases, APIs, third-party tools, and data platforms. Partner with business leaders to prioritize AI use cases based on value, feasibility, risk, cost, and scalability. Support global requirements, including multi-region, multi-language, multi-currency, and localization needs. Establish an AI forum to surface new ideas, use cases, and business requirements. Work with data, security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure data is properly staged, governed, and secured for AI consumption. Establish responsible AI practices covering privacy, access control, auditability, compliance, security, human oversight, and cost management. Architect secure patterns for AI agents, MCP-based integrations, and governed access to enterprise systems. Build dashboards and decision-support tools that improve visibility into sales, margin, logistics, inventory, finance, and operational KPIs. Support adoption through training, usage standards, documentation, feedback loops, and stakeholder engagement. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise systems, ERP, front office, data, analytics, automation, or technology transformation. 3+ years of experience designing or implementing AI, generative AI, automation, analytics, intelligent agents, or decision-support solutions. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or related platforms. Strong understanding of generative AI, intelligent agents, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. Demonstrated ability to reduce manual work, improve reporting, automate workflows, or increase operational efficiency. Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, food, retail, or global trading environments. Familiarity with modern AI, sales, automation, and productivity platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, HubSpot, Airtable, Gong, ZoomInfo, or similar tools, with the ability to evaluate where they fit within a secure enterprise architecture . Familiarity with finance and supply chain KPIs. Relevant certifications or formal training in AI, cloud, data, or automation technologies are advantageous. Leaders unwilling to get hands-on. Technologists who cannot connect AI work to business outcomes. Security & Governance Expectations This role must operate within strong enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and change-management controls. AI solutions must follow least-privilege access, approved platforms, audit logging, human-in-the-loop controls, secure integration patterns, and business-owner approval for workflows that affect financial, operational, customer, vendor, compliance, or ERP processes.
