I'm working with a YC-backed startup building AI agents that are transforming how complex benefits and insurance workflows are managed. They're building an AI-native platform that helps enterprises automate data extraction, reasoning, decision-making, and customer-facing workflows across a highly regulated industry. Already backed by leading investors and working with major industry players, they're now looking for an AI/ML Engineer to help build the next generation of production AI systems. What You'll Be Doing Building and deploying multi-agent AI systems in production Developing AI-native workflows powered by LLMs Designing backend services, APIs, and data pipelines Building RAG and memory systems using vector databases Creating evaluation, monitoring, and observability frameworks for AI products Tech Stack Python Node.js LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI Studio) LangChain AWS What They're Looking For 3+ years of software engineering experience Strong backend engineering skills Experience building AI products in production Experience with AI agents, agent orchestration, or LLM-powered systems Experience with RAG, retrieval systems, or vector databases Nice to Have Experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services Experience building document processing and extraction pipelines Experience scaling AI systems with reliability, observability, and cost controls Why Join?
