Senior Data Scientist (Generative AI & Machine Learning) Remote - Full-Time | AI / ML | Data & Analytics Base Salary ~170K to 210K + 15% bonus Cherry Bekaert is partnering with a rapidly growing global data and analytics organization undergoing a major AI transformation initiative across its business and product ecosystem. This organization is investing heavily in advanced AI, machine learning, and data science capabilities to build production-grade solutions that directly impact decision-making within the healthcare space. Their centralized Data Science organization is seeking a strong Senior Data Scientists to help design, build, and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML solutions across a broad range of enterprise and client-facing applications. This is an opportunity to work on highly visible initiatives involving: Generative AI Agentic AI frameworks Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) NLP Knowledge graphs Predictive modeling Intelligent automation Production AI systems at scale The team is highly hands-on, focused on delivering production-grade solutions that solve real-world business problems. Responsibilities: Design and develop AI/ML solutions for large-scale enterprise applications Build and deploy production-ready machine learning and Generative AI systems Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to ambiguous business challenges Develop scalable Python-based AI/ML applications and services Evaluate and implement modern AI techniques including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows Contribute to system architecture, experimentation, and model optimization Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical best practices Stay current with evolving AI technologies and frameworks Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/ML solutions in production environments Strong Python programming skills with experience across modern AI/ML frameworks (pandas, scikit-learn, LangChain, NLP/Deep Learning frameworks) Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems Strong foundation in machine learning, algorithms, system design, and scalable software development Excellent analytical problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills within cross-functional environments Preferred Qualifications: Experience building enterprise-scale AI/ML products or platforms Background within healthcare, pharma, or life sciences environments Exposure to AWS technologies including Bedrock, SageMaker, ECS, and serverless architectures Experience with knowledge graphs, advanced NLP, or recommendation systems Experience operating within startup and/or enterprise environments Advanced STEM degree preferred (Computer Science, AI, Statistics, Engineering, etc.) Important Note: All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
