This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-impact engineering team and help build an agentic AI platform from the ground up. If you're passionate about production AI, autonomous agents, and solving real-world problems with Large Language Models, we'd love to hear from you. 📍 Location New York City (Hybrid) – Minimum 3-4 days per week in the office 💰 Compensation Base Salary: $180,000–$280,000 Equity: Meaningful equity package About the Role As an AI Engineer , you'll play a key role in designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI systems that automate complex workflows using Large Language Models and multi-agent architectures. This is a true zero-to-one opportunity , where you'll have significant ownership over product direction, technical architecture, and AI system design. What You'll Do Design and build production-ready AI agents and agentic workflows Develop LLM-powered applications using modern prompting, RAG, and retrieval techniques Build scalable AI systems using Python and modern ML frameworks Design multi-agent orchestration pipelines for complex reasoning tasks Optimize AI models for production performance and reliability Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful AI solutions Experiment with emerging AI technologies and rapidly prototype new capabilities Required Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience building production ML/AI systems Strong Python programming skills Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) Experience building or deploying AI agents or agentic workflows Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Experience deploying machine learning models into production Background working in fast-paced startup environments Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have Multi-agent orchestration frameworks Reinforcement Learning PyTorch Transformers Temporal LangChain or LangGraph Healthcare AI experience Insurance or financial workflow automation AI infrastructure and MLOps PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field Ideal Background We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked at: AI-native startups VC-backed technology companies High-growth SaaS businesses Applied AI teams within leading technology organizations Why Apply?
