Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days WFH) Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 (Dependant on Experience) A high-growth SaaS organisation is continuing to invest heavily in Artificial Intelligence and is looking to add multiple AI Engineers to its growing team. This role will focus on developing AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions that improve business performance, enhance customer engagement and create more efficient internal workflows. Key Responsibilities • Build and deploy AI-powered applications using modern Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies. • Develop intelligent solutions that help teams make better decisions, automate repetitive processes and improve operational effectiveness. • Create AI systems capable of retrieving, analysing and utilising information from multiple data sources. • Work closely with Product, Engineering and Business teams to identify opportunities where AI can drive measurable business value. • Evaluate different approaches to solving AI problems and recommend the most effective technical solutions. • Design safeguards, monitoring and quality controls to ensure reliable AI performance in production environments. • Optimise AI systems for performance, scalability, cost efficiency and long-term maintainability. • Contribute to the delivery of end-to-end AI solutions from concept through to deployment. Requirements • 5+ years of experience within AI, Machine Learning or Data Science. • Strong Python development experience. • Experience building and deploying AI or Machine Learning solutions in production. • Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI or AI application development. • Experience working with cloud-based platforms and modern engineering practices. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
