AI Solutions Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days WFH) Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 A high-growth SaaS organisation is continuing to invest heavily in Artificial Intelligence and is looking to add an AI Solutions Engineer to its growing team. We are seeking a commercially minded AI professional who can combine strong technical expertise with the ability to identify, shape and deliver AI initiatives that create measurable business value. This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success and business leadership teams to develop AI solutions that drive customer acquisition, improve engagement, increase operational efficiency and support revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications using Machine Learning, Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies. Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve customer acquisition, marketing performance, customer retention and operational effectiveness. Translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions with clear commercial outcomes. Build intelligent systems capable of analysing, retrieving and leveraging information from multiple data sources. Evaluate AI use cases and prioritise initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility and ROI. Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring AI solutions from concept through production deployment. Establish monitoring, governance and quality controls to ensure reliable AI performance. Optimise AI systems for scalability, performance, maintainability and cost efficiency. Measure and communicate the business impact of AI initiatives. Requirements 5+ years of experience within AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or AI Engineering. Strong Python development experience. Experience building and deploying AI or Machine Learning solutions into production environments. Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG or AI application development. Experience working with cloud platforms and modern software engineering practices. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes. Demonstrated experience delivering AI initiatives that have improved revenue generation, customer acquisition, customer experience, operational efficiency or business productivity.
