About MemVerge & The Role MemVerge is building next-generation AI infrastructure and personal AI software. Our MemoryBox platform gives AI systems persistent, portable, and user-controlled memory across applications, conversations, and AI models. We’re looking for an AI Engineer who is curious, hands-on, and excited to build with the latest AI technologies. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to develop LLM, RAG, AI agent, memory, search, and personalization capabilities and turn experiments into real product features. What You'll Do Build and improve LLM-powered features for MemoryBox. Prototype with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, memory, and AI agents . Experiment, evaluate results, diagnose failures, and improve AI system performance. Turn promising ideas into reliable production features . Collaborate with experienced engineers while quickly taking ownership of your work. What We're Looking For Strong programming skills in Python ; experience with Rust and/or Go is a plus. Proficient use of AI coding agents and an AI-native approach to building software. Familiarity with LLMs, APIs, prompting, embeddings, RAG, or AI agents . Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving ability. Evidence that you build things —through work, internships, research, open source, hackathons, or personal projects. Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to learn and experiment quickly. Bonus Points Experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, cloud infrastructure, or open-source LLMs .
