AI Engineer – Agentic Systems & AI Security 📍 Doral/Miami, FL | Hybrid 💼 Permanent / Full-Time ✈️ Relocation assistance available About the Role We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to join a newly established AI Security team supporting the enterprise adoption of Generative AI and agentic technologies. This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, agentic systems, software development, and cybersecurity . You will help application teams build more secure AI agents by developing automation, security controls, evaluation frameworks, and reusable tooling that protect AI applications from emerging threats. This is an opportunity to help shape enterprise AI security practices from the ground up and have a direct impact on how AI agents are designed, deployed, and secured. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain security controls and guardrails for GenAI and agentic applications . Develop primarily Python-based scripts, programs, and automation to operationalize AI security controls. Evaluate and improve LLM prompts, agent behavior, and tool interactions . Identify and mitigate prompt injection, jailbreaks, and AI tool misuse . Build automated evaluation frameworks and regression testing for AI agents and LLM applications. Integrate AI security controls and testing into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows . Develop reusable libraries, SDKs, templates, and secure AI development patterns. Support AI red teaming and translate security findings into practical engineering improvements. Help enforce identity, access, and data-protection controls at the prompt and tool-invocation layer. Define secure prompting and agentic development best practices and drive adoption across engineering teams. Research and evaluate emerging AI security technologies and tools. Partner with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to communicate AI security risks and recommendations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, cybersecurity, platform engineering, or a related discipline. Strong hands-on Python development and scripting experience. Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI agents . Understanding of agentic architectures, LLM orchestration, and AI application development. Knowledge of prompt engineering and prompt-security concepts . Understanding of threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and tool misuse . Experience with CI/CD, APIs, version control, testing, and automation . Working knowledge of application/API security and data protection . Familiarity with Identity & Access Management (IAM), OAuth, or least-privilege principles is highly desirable. Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and/or NIST AI RMF is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Experience Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI , or similar agentic frameworks. Experience designing or securing multi-agent systems . AI security or application security experience. Experience with AI red teaming or LLM security testing. Experience securing AI workloads in AWS and/or Azure . Knowledge of MCP and secure tool invocation . Experience building security automation or developer security tooling. Why Join?
