Build the enterprise AI foundation behind intelligent applications, AI agents, automation, and reusable services used across investment and corporate functions. This role blends hands-on backend engineering with production Generative AI development in a high-impact platform environment. Responsibilities Design and deliver production AI applications powered by leading foundation models and modern Generative AI technologies. Build reusable MCP-based services that securely connect AI solutions with enterprise tools, APIs, and data sources. Develop AI agents that can reason, plan, and execute complex workflows across business functions. Create RAG solutions using enterprise knowledge sources, embeddings, and vector databases. Engineer scalable backend services and secure APIs using Java/Spring Boot and/or Python. Establish AI evaluation, observability, prompt testing, monitoring, governance, and cost-management practices. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize and deliver valuable AI use cases. Help shape platform architecture, mentor engineers, contribute to technical design, and advance reusable AI engineering standards. Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable backend applications, with strong Java/Spring Boot and/or Python expertise. Hands-on experience developing production Generative AI applications using LLMs, including experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agents. Experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, SQL-based applications, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical discipline, or comparable practical experience. Familiarity with AI frameworks and cloud AI platforms such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or comparable technologies. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills; experience with enterprise AI platforms, financial services, AI governance, workflow automation, or MCP is beneficial. Show more Show less
