As a Backend Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of AI and backend engineering, designing the foundational services and orchestration systems that power our platform. From mission-critical APIs to distributed orchestration frameworks, you'll have a significant impact from day one, helping shape the core architecture of a next-generation AI platform. What You'll Do Build and scale backend services that power AI-driven automation. Develop Python-based APIs and orchestration systems that integrate with AI models and agentic workflows. Optimize performance, reliability, and resilience across large-scale distributed systems. Collaborate closely with AI, product, and engineering teams to embed intelligence into backend services. Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment. What We're Looking For 2–6 years of backend engineering experience building high-performance APIs and distributed systems. Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages. Experience with cloud platforms, SaaS architectures, microservices, and Kubernetes. Proven ability to scale, optimize, and troubleshoot backend systems. Curiosity about emerging technologies and a passion for learning. Experience with AI/ML integrations is a plus.
