Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Agents)

About the Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be at the forefront of customer engagements, leading the deployment and implementation of AI agents and intelligent workflows within strategic customer environments. You'll partner directly with engineering teams, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to understand their workflows, design AI-powered solutions, and ensure successful adoption across their organization. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes . This role combines software engineering, AI systems design, solution architecture, customer engagement, and product strategy. You'll help customers solve complex operational challenges while influencing the evolution of the platform through real-world customer feedbac k. What We're Looking For1–2+ years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Client-Facing Software Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing r ole.Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building backend systems, integrations, or AI-powered applicati ons.Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, or modern AI application architectu res.Experience deploying software or AI solutions into customer or production environme nts.Comfortable working directly with customers to understand technical requirements, solve implementation challenges, and drive successful outco mes.Strong understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software development practi ces.Exceptional customer empathy and ability to connect technical solutions to business objecti ves.Strong ownership mentality with the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environme nts.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility with technical stakehold ers.Passion for AI and eagerness to learn new technologies quic kly. Nice to HaveExperience building production AI applications using platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar framew orks.Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, knowledge systems, or agent orchestra tion.Experience integrating AI into enterprise software, internal tools, or business workf lows.Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern software development pract ices.Experience working in startup or high-growth environm ents.
