Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role
Most "customer-facing engineer" roles aren't. This one is. You'll be on live calls co-building AI solutions with the customer, not behind a PM shipping internal tooling. I'm working with an AI-native startup building the data and context layer that powers enterprise go-to-market teams to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer . Small team, real customers (logos you'd know), shipping fast. Remote (US) , or in-office in SF / Denver. $225–275K base + equity. The role, plainly: You get on prospect and customer calls, learn their stack, connect their data, and build AI-powered solutions with them — live. You spin up demos and POCs fast, carry deals forward with the AE, and hold the technical line in security and architecture reviews with CTOs and CROs. Then you feed what you learn straight into the roadmap. You'll fit if you: — Have 4+ years in customer-facing engineering (CSE, solutions architect, FDE, implementation eng) and have actually co-built with customers — Are already shipping with LLMs in production: agentic workflows, RAG, MCP/tool-use — Thrive in early-stage chaos and wear multiple hats — Can hold your own with a deeply technical CTO and a non-technical CRO in the same week Bonus: GTM/revenue tooling (Salesforce, Gong, Snowflake), Python or TypeScript, enterprise sales partnership. Unfortunately - no visa sponsorship on this one. Show more Show less
