Founding Engineer

"Build agentic AI workflows across an aging industry!" Our client is hiring an additional Founding Engineer to help further develop their AI platform. Operating within Real Estate today but expanding to other industries, this platform takes large quantities of data and creates a multi-step automation workflow utilising AI within an event driven architecture. We work with real estate today based on our founders backgrounds but will adapt the platform as we grow within industries. With over 3M in pre-seed and eyes set on a full seed round end of this year, over 500k ARR and a team of 8, we are looking for true builders at heart... individuals that want to be part of something from the early stage. The role: As a Founding Engineer, you’ll work across the stack to design and deliver core platform capabilities, with a particular focus on intelligent, automated workflows. Key responsibilities include: Building and coordinating AI-driven systems that operate reliably at scale Developing frameworks to assess model performance, quality, and safety Designing pipelines to ingest, process, and standardise external data sources in real time Connecting the platform into enterprise software environments to drive real-world usage Working closely with customers to refine features and solve practical problems Making key decisions around system architecture, security, and scalability Supporting API integrations Your experience: Strong commercial experience as a full-stack engineer with a flare for backend Proficiency with TypeScript or Nest Experience building modern web applications and APIs Hands-on experience with large language models, retrieval techniques, and performance trade-offs Background in building, evaluating, or monitoring complex distributed or AI-driven systems Nice to have: experience in procurement, ERP, or enterprise platforms What’s on offer: Competitive base salary with meaningful equity participation Hybrid working setup (4 days per week in the office) A high-impact role with influence over product, architecture, and culture Autonomy and trust within a small, experienced engineering team Founders at the helm who has built, scaled and sold organisations prior.
