What You’ll Do Build the Core Agentic Platform: Design and build the orchestration, tool use, planning loops, and memory management that let agents autonomously reason over complex data, transforming raw models into robust product behaviors. Swarm Scale: Build agentic systems to coordinate at scale with distributed execution environments, concurrency, and observability, while relentlessly pushing on latency and cost. Own the LLM Stack & Evaluations: Develop evaluation and observability systems working with domain experts to ensure agent behavior is measurable, safe, and continuously improving. What You’ll Bring Strong Engineering Fundamentals: Deep expertise in backend and distributed systems, with the ability to build, operate, and maintain high-stakes production environments. Applied LLM Experience: Hands-on experience building with LLMs—such as agent frameworks, tool use, prompting, or retrieval—or a strong systems background with genuine excitement to go deep on them. End-to-End Execution: A proven track record of turning ambiguous, open-ended problems into shipped, reliable software, taking full ownership from initial design to operational health. AI Fluency & Judgment: Clear articulation of how AI shapes the way you build, coupled with the judgment to know when to drive broad platform architecture versus going deep on a single hard problem. Collaboration: Strong instincts for working cross-functionally with researchers, product teams, and other engineers to deliver exceptional outcomes. Even Better With Experience building agentic or LLM-powered systems in production beyond prototypes and demos. Experience with evaluation and observability specifically tailored for non-deterministic systems. Experience building enterprise products, understanding the high expectations around reliability, scale, and customer trust. Publications in top ML venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL).
