About the Role We are seeking a highly creative, analytical, and technically skilled Prompt Engineer to join our growing AI team. In this role, you will be the bridge between cutting-edge foundational Large Language Models (LLMs) and our production-grade applications. You will design, develop, test, and optimize advanced prompting strategies to ensure our AI systems deliver accurate, safe, context-aware, and highly reliable outputs. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP), strong Python programming skills, and a passion for empirical experimentation with generative AI technologies. Key Responsibilities 1. Prompt Design & Optimization Design, build, and refine complex prompt templates using advanced methodologies (e.g., Chain-of-Thought, Tree-of-Thoughts, Few-Shot, and ReAct). Develop and maintain system-level instructions, guardrails, and context-injection frameworks to ensure deterministic, high-quality model outputs. Minimize model hallucinations, bias, and variance while maximizing context window efficiency and reducing token consumption/costs. 2. AI System Architecture & Integration Collaborate with software engineers to integrate prompts into production code via APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, open-source models). Build, optimize, and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and multi-agent workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph. Work closely with data teams to curate high-quality evaluation datasets for model benchmarking and potential fine-tuning. 3. Evaluation, Testing & Security Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks (e.g., using LLM-as-a-judge or automated metrics) to continuously benchmark prompt performance. Conduct adversarial testing ( red-teaming ) to identify vulnerabilities such as prompt injections, jailbreaks, and data leaks, implementing robust defense mechanisms. Stay up-to-date with the latest AI research, model updates, and emerging prompting techniques, rapidly prototyping new capabilities. Required Qualifications Experience: 2–3+ years of hands-on experience working directly with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude 3.5, Llama 3) and a proven track record of deploying generative AI features to production. Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Python and standard data libraries. Experience with AI orchestrators like LangChain , LlamaIndex , or Semantic Kernel. Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB, Milvus) and embeddings. Core Competencies: Exceptional command of natural language, syntax, and semantics. Deep understanding of how LLMs interpret tokenization, context, and structural formatting (like JSON or XML tagging). Strong problem-solving skills with an experimental, data-driven mindset. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related field. Experience with fine-tuning open-source models (e.g., Mistral, Llama). Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker). Active participation in the AI community (open-source contributions, AI hackathons, or published prompts/notebooks). What is in it for you: Be part of the fastest-growing AI-first digital transformation and engineering company in the world Be a leader of an energetic team of highly dynamic and talented individuals Exposure to working with fortune 500 companies and innovative market disruptors Exposure to the latest technologies related to artificial intelligence and machine learning, data and cloud Show more Show less
