Senior AI Solutions Engineer

Metric have partnered with a PE-backed AI orchestration platform on a mission to make AI automation a reality for mid-market businesses, not just a proof of concept. They build and deploy production-grade AI solutions directly with their commercial partners, covering everything from back-office workflow automation to live enterprise system integrations. They are growing their delivery team and need an experienced tech lead to own client solutions end to end. What you'll work on: Designing and deploying AI-powered workflows and automation solutions on low-code platforms for enterprise clients. Integrating the platform with external systems including CRMs, ERPs, and enterprise APIs. Directing and reviewing AI coding agent outputs to ensure production-grade quality. Decomposing complex client requirements into executable tasks and delegating to junior engineers. Communicating technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders and commercial partners. Applying full-stack engineering skills to extend and customise solutions beyond what low-code platforms can deliver. What they're looking for: 10+ years of engineering/architecture experience with a strong track record in AI automation, low-code development, and integrating complex enterprise systems. Hands-on production experience with at least one major low-code platform such as Power Platform, n8n, OutSystems, Retool or similar. Active daily use of AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar. Integration experience with CRMs, ERPs, and REST APIs. Scripting fluency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and oversee junior engineers. Strong communication skills with non-technical clients and stakeholders. US-based and authorised to work without visa sponsorship. Nice to haves: Experience with LLM APIs, agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, prompt engineering, or a background in fast-moving SaaS or services environments.
