Senior Applied AI Engineer | NYC | $220k-$300k + Equity We're partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building the AI operating system for independent retailers. The company recently experienced explosive growth, is backed by top-tier investors, and is building production AI systems that directly impact pricing, merchandising, inventory management, marketing, and revenue for thousands of businesses. You'll work on: ✅ Agentic workflows & AI agents ✅ Retrieval, ranking & recommendation systems ✅ OCR & document understanding ✅ LLM evaluations & observability ✅ Production AI infrastructure Requirements: • 5+ years building production ML/AI systems • Strong Python and/or TypeScript experience • Experience with LLMs, RAG, agents, retrieval, recommendations, or ranking systems • Passion for building products with direct customer impact Compensation: $220k-$300k base + meaningful equity, full benefits, unlimited PTO 📍 NYC (In-Office) Show more Show less
