Senior Software Engineer | AI Software and Ops | Remote, USA | Up to $155,000 We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a fast-growing cyber incident response company helping organisations prepare for, respond to and recover from major cyber events. The business supports clients through ransomware, business email compromise, malware, data theft and complex intrusions. Their work sits at the sharp end of cyber, where speed, technical accuracy and calm decision-making matter. The Role You’ll work across Python backends, React frontends, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and agentic AI workflows. You’ll report into the Head of Engineering and contribute as an individual contributor across both existing customer-facing applications and new greenfield builds. This is a small, fast-moving team. You’ll write code, make architecture decisions, operate what you build and ship working software every sprint. What You’ll Be Doing Building greenfield Python applications using agentic engineering methods. Designing AI agent workflows using tools such as Claude Code, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar. Creating systems for multi-agent coordination, context injection and output validation. Building services, APIs and data layers across Python and React applications. Owning AWS infrastructure across development, staging and production. Useful Experience Experience with AI agent workflows, MCP server architecture or LLM context injection patterns. Cybersecurity, incident response, digital forensics or compliance-adjacent engineering experience. Startup or high-growth experience where you have had to wear multiple hats.
