Staff Software Engineer – AI Agents Remote (US) Salary up to $230K + Equity Fast-growing AI startup is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to build and scale production AI agents used by thousands of businesses daily. You’ll own AI-powered workflows end-to-end - from LLM orchestration and backend systems to conversational interfaces and production reliability. This is a highly hands-on role focused on building real-world AI products in a fast-moving environment. Requirements: 5+ years of software engineering experience Strong experience building production LLM or agentic AI systems Experience with RAG, tool calling, prompt engineering, and agent workflows Strong full-stack engineering skills Strong TypeScript/Node.js experience preferred Degree in Computer Science or related field required Startup experience strongly preferred Tech stack: React, TypeScript Node.js PostgreSQL, MongoDB AWS infrastructure Fully remote across the US.
