What you'd own (varies by role) Deploy and embed agentic / LLM systems directly into customer codebases and production environments Full-stack delivery — TypeScript / React on the front, Python on the back — plus the integrations, infra, and evals that make it reliable Diagnose failures in live customer systems and drive deployments to durable production use Own customer relationships end-to-end, translating ambiguous goals into shipped software What we're looking for A genuine software engineer who ships code — not a solutions/implementation engineer who scripts around problems Shipped AI/LLM or agentic systems into production in real customer environments (past RAG, with real evals behind them, where the role calls for it) Strong full-stack or infra depth — TypeScript/React, Python, APIs, Kubernetes, distributed systems A forward-deployed, customer-facing mentality — you like being in the room with the user Typically 3–8 years of experience; based in SF or able to work remotely on US East Coast / Europe hours Strong bonus signals Prior FDE, solutions, or implementation engineering at a high-growth AI-infrastructure or AI-tooling startup Founding or early-engineer experience at a venture-backed company Evals, observability, agent-behavior-monitoring, or enterprise-deployment background Frontier lab or brand AI/infra-company pedigree (Anthropic / OpenAI / Scale / Databricks / Datadog lane) — a plus, ranked below real build/ship signal Compensation: $150K–$300K+ base, plus equity. Exact range and equity depend on the specific client, stage, and seniority — we'll be straight with you about the band on the first call. Not a fit: pure solutions/implementation engineers with no real software depth, bank/legacy-enterprise internal DevOps, scripting-not-coding profiles, anyone whose AI experience tops out at RAG demos, and FDE-as-a-fallback candidates angling for a different role.
