About the Role
DataBridge is looking for a contract AI Engineer to help deliver a 3-month project: rebuilding our internal knowledge base into an AI-searchable system using RAG.
You'll work with our existing engineering team (4 engineers) and report to the VP of Engineering. The project has a clear scope and a defined end date.
The project: - Migrate 50,000+ internal documents into a vector database - Build a semantic search and Q&A system using LlamaIndex - Integrate with our existing Slack and Confluence setup - Deliver documentation and hand off to internal team
Requirements: - 2+ years shipping production RAG or semantic search systems - Strong with LlamaIndex or LangChain - Experience with Pinecone or pgvector - Available to start within 2 weeks
