Behind every vehicle our client puts back on the road is a massive trail of data and right now, that data is becoming their biggest competitive advantage. One of the largest names in the automotive industry, this global organization is building the data and AI foundation that will power the next decade of growth, and they need a Data & AI Architect to help design it. That someone could be you. The Role Our client is looking for a Data & AI Architect who thinks beyond pipelines and schemas. Someone who can design scalable, modern data platforms, bring strong architecture instincts to a growing team, and contribute meaningfully to an evolving AI and analytics practice. You'll work alongside enterprise architecture, data engineering, analytics, and business leaders to shape the data ecosystem, and you'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with GenAI and ML initiatives as the practice matures. This isn't a maintain-the-warehouse role. It's a build-the-future one. What You'll Own The platform. Design and evolve cloud-based data platforms, architecting ETL/ELT pipelines and data models that support both real-time and historical use cases at scale. The architecture. Define what good data architecture looks like for the business, from ingestion and storage through transformation, consumption, and analytics. The enablement. Deliver clean, governed data that powers BI, self-service analytics, and ML workloads, optimized for performance, reliability, and scale. The guardrails. Establish governance standards for data quality, security, lineage, and responsible data usage. The AI foundation. Contribute to GenAI and ML initiatives, whether that's supporting a PoC, integrating an LLM-based solution, or helping shape the architecture that makes AI use cases possible. What You Bring Strong data engineering and platform architecture experience, including data modeling, warehousing, ETL/ELT, and distributed systems A solid understanding of data analytics and what it takes to deliver governed, reliable data to business consumers Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You don't need to have lived exclusively in one, but you're comfortable getting hands-on and prototyping in AWS Strong Python and SQL skills and familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Exposure to ML and Generative AI, whether you've built RAG pipelines, integrated LLMs, or contributed to AI initiatives, that experience is a meaningful value-add The translator gene: you turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions and can communicate architecture decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice to Have Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or similar Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or agentic AI workflows Background in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services ----- MMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
