About the Role
Cascade is pre-product and we're looking for our first AI Engineer to help us build from scratch. If you want to shape the technical direction of a company from day one, this is the role.
We're working in the agentic AI space — building systems where AI agents take real actions in the world on behalf of users. The problem space is hard, the team is small, and the upside is significant.
What this looks like: - Architect and build our core agent infrastructure - Experiment with different agentic frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI) - Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction - Hire and mentor the next engineers we bring on
Who you are: - You've built and shipped agentic AI systems — not just chatbots - Strong Python engineer with a taste for system design - Comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast - Excited about the frontier of what agents can do
