Lead AI Solutions Architect

Role Summary Lead architecture, pre-sales, and delivery of enterprise-scale AI solutions for regulated healthcare environments. Own end-to-end designs spanning Agentic AI, GenAI, traditional ML, application, and data architectures. Partner with architects, delivery leaders, and clients to shape winning proposals; incubate new projects hands-on; and translate business problems into governed, explainable, production-grade AI products while mentoring cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities End-to-end AI architecture: Architect Agentic AI, GenAI, RAG, and traditional ML solutions from reference architecture to production deployment. Agentic systems: Design and build multi-agent systems — agent orchestration, tool/function calling, planning and reasoning patterns, memory, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop oversight. Hybrid AI design: Define architectures that combine deterministic rules, statistical models, explainable ML, and LLM-based reasoning for high precision and auditability. GenAI stack: Design LLM orchestration, RAG, vector stores, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, grounding, and HITL workflows. Governance & compliance: Establish AI governance, security, and compliance — explainability, PHI handling, HIPAA, HITRUST, model risk management, and responsible AI. MLOps / LLMOps: Define model CI/CD, evaluation pipelines, observability, drift detection, and cost/latency optimization. Pre-sales: Drive solutioning, estimation, execution methodology, and delivery plans for AI opportunities; own technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, SoWs, and client orals. Customer partnership: Work closely with other Architects and Delivery Leaders to understand customer business, technical landscape, and constraints while building proposals and shaping deal pursuits. Project incubation: Lead hands-on incubation of new AI projects — from PoC and architecture spikes through MVP — establishing the technical foundation that delivery teams scale. Application & data architecture: Lead microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns, data lakes/lakehouses, streaming pipelines, and EMR/enterprise integrations for AI products. Business outcomes: Translate problems into AI capabilities across healthcare sub-segments like EMR, Patient services and engagement, Medical devices, Medical Imaging, RCM, etc. Mentorship & standards: Mentor engineering and data science teams; run design reviews; establish AI engineering best practices and operating models. Executive engagement: Advise executive stakeholders and clients on AI strategy, roadmap, and investment decisions. Required Skills: Agentic AI Hands-on experience architecting and building agentic systems in production — single-agent and multi-agent — including planning, tool/function calling, reasoning loops, memory, and guardrails. Working experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Bedrock Agents, OpenAI Agents/Assistants, or equivalent. Designing evaluation, observability, tracing, safety controls, and cost/latency optimization for agentic workloads. GenAI, ML & AI Governance Deep expertise across the modern GenAI stack: LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, vector databases, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, grounding, and HITL workflows. Hands-on with hyperscaler and niche AI platforms — AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source LLM ecosystems. Proven track record architecting hybrid AI systems that combine rules engines, statistical models, explainable ML, and LLM reasoning. Strong grasp of AI governance, security, and compliance: explainability, PHI handling, HIPAA, HITRUST, model risk management, responsible AI. Healthcare Domain Hands-on experience building healthcare AI solutions in one or more of: medical imaging, medical devices, EMR, patient engagement, RCM, patient services, life sciences (clinical trials, genomics). Working knowledge of FHIR, HL7, EDI 837/835, and EHR integrations. Demonstrated ability to deliver AI capabilities for denial prediction, revenue integrity, coding optimization, risk analytics, workflow automation, and intelligent copilots/assistants. Pre-sales & Solutioning Proven pre-sales contribution — solutioning, estimation (effort, team mix, timeline), execution methodology, and delivery plans for enterprise AI deals. Experience authoring technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, SoWs, and presenting in client orals and solution defense. Comfortable collaborating with other Architects, Delivery Leaders, and Sales to understand customer context and shape winning solutions. Nice to Have Open-source contributions, patents, or peer-reviewed publications in AI/ML. Experience with healthcare interoperability platforms, payer-provider data exchange, or clinical decision support. Certifications in cloud architecture, AI/ML, or healthcare compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field 12–18 years of total IT experience. 6–8+ years of dedicated technical architecture experience across AI/ML and application/data architecture. Track record of delivering production-grade AI in regulated environments (healthcare preferred).
