Fast-moving, impact-driven environment with strong engineering peers. What You’ll Do Design, build, test, and scale backend services and AI-driven applications (TypeScript/Node/Python). Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and fellow engineers to turn ideas into reality. Solve complex engineering challenges in distributed systems, event-driven and real-time processing, and model integrations. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Implement streaming endpoints, function/tool-calling, and structured outputs (JSON Schema) where LLMs are involved. Add robust observability (metrics, logs, tracing), guardrails, and cost/latency optimizations. Ship production features end-to-end: schema design, CI/CD, reliability, and rollback plans. Contribute ideas that shape the direction of our platform and company. What We’re Looking For A self-starter with strong software engineering fundamentals comfortable with ambiguity, can self-direct, and have a bias for action. You don’t wait for directions, you find opportunities, experiment, and execute. Proven track record shipping LLM features using vendor model APIs ( OpenAI GPT family—o3 / latest; Anthropic Claude 3.x Opus/Sonnet; Google Gemini 2.5) and open-source models (Llama 3.x, Mixtral, Qwen), including tool/function-calling, structured outputs (JSON schemas), streaming, evals, and cost/latency tuning; comfortable integrating via LangChain/LangGraph and model gateways (OpenRouter/Together/Fireworks). Some Key Technologies We Use We Believe a Great Engineer Can Learn And Pick Up Any Technology Fast. Your Knowledge Or Familiarity With Some Of These Technologies Will Be Great AI Models & Frameworks: GPT, Claude, Langchain, Langgraph Experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or AWS/Azure; Solid grasp of networking, secrets, and monitoring basics. Proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js; experience with NestJS or Fastify, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis, and BullMQ.
