Staff AI Engineer

Job title: Staff AI Engineer Location: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite) Duration: Full-time About the Role Meeru AI is looking for an experienced Staff AI Engineer to build scalable AI solutions for enterprise finance. You will lead the development of production-grade machine learning, LLM, and Agentic AI systems with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and grounded AI. Responsibilities Design and deploy AI/ML solutions using LLMs, RAG, and AI agents. Build machine learning models for anomaly detection and predictive analytics. Develop scalable Python services and APIs. Integrate AI solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering teams. Mentor engineers and drive AI best practices. Required Skills 8+ years of AI/ML engineering experience. Strong Python programming and software engineering. Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, and Agentic AI. Machine Learning using scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM. Experience with SQL, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Strong understanding of production AI systems and model evaluation. Preferred Experience with finance or enterprise SaaS products. Exposure to Bedrock, Vertex AI, or Azure OpenAI.
